NEW ANNOUNCEMENT DAPCO has expanded it's outreach
to include the area of Washtenaw County. As of June 2007, DAPCO has extended it's outreach and began forming relations
and conducting research in the Washtenaw County area with other non-profit agencies and contacting churches to recruit male
and female mentors. Our primary focus will be on at-risk youth in the Ypsilanti area, with a special program emphasis
on developing our Youth on a Positive Note Male Mentoring program and providing marriage enhancement classes for those seeking
to strengthen their marital relationship. Further details will be forthcoming in the near future.
"Have
Lunch with the Doctors" was a success. The event was held at the Four Points by Sheraton Hotel,
3200 Board Walk in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The day began with Registrations and Networking. The room was full to capacity
and each presenter, Dr. Dan Geck, Dr. Natalie Horn and Donna Tansel, are natural practioners. Each of them conduct their
practices in the Washtenaw county area. Most of our attendees were from the Washtenaw County area. A tasty and delictable
lunch buffet was provided, along with singing and playing by Saxophonist, Edmond Parker. Coordinators were from DAPCO's
Fund Development Committee, Mr. Charles Gillespie, Connie Smith and Executive Director, Towana Parker. Stay tuned to
our website for the next Business Networking Workshop.
