Destiny and Purpose Community Outreach was one of
the selected agencies to help plan and coordinate volunteers for the 2005 "Comcast Cares Day". The event was
held October 3, 2005 and was held at the Motor City Blight Busters executive office, located at Lahser Road and Grand
River Avenue in the Far Northwest district of Detroit. "Comcast Cares Day" is a nationwide event, held in various
states where Comcast has a presence, usually on the same day. It was noted that Detroit had the largest participation.
Below are highlights captured of this wonderful community service project, sponsored by Comcast.

The project was completed by the many dutiful persons from the community and non-profit agencies
in Metro Detroit.
