Overview of our Organization

We began in 1997 as a women's entrepreneurial support program, under the name "Ladies of Destiny and Purpose, International.  In 1999, our focus and mission broadened, and we formed "Destiny and Purpose Community Outreach (DAPCO) a charitable, educational and mission minded community development organization.

Outreach Program Components

A. Entrepreneur & Life support workshops for women 

B. Role-Model Mentoring program for young women (Youth on a Positive Note)

 D. Foster Youth transitional housing & training program

H. Alternate Solution - Re-Entry mediation & resource services

2010 - 2011 Board of Directors: Board of Directors meet quarterly (or when needed) to maintain the business and operational matters of the organization.  The Board members are: President, Gwendolyn Traylor - Vice-President, Sylvia Clark - Treasurer, Leon Mack  Secretary, Njina James Officers,  Betty Davis, Reginald McMillan, Viola Shackelford
